Movie = Crips and Bloods: Made in America(Documentary)

This is possibly one of the best documentaries you could ever watch especially if your curious about the events surrounding the gangs called Crips and the Bloods. This documentary covers everything from the racism that led to the creation of the gangs up to and around the eventaul end to the Gang War.

When i first started to watch it wasnt expecting much but this movie is an in your face documentary. So for those who want to know what i mean by "In your face" well it uses graphical images, graphical stories told from those who experienced them, information about the racism that led to the creation of the gangs and any sub gangs.

Overall i highly recommend this movie for anyone to watch but its probably not something for everyone to watch because of some of the graphical imagery they use in it. Other than that i give this movie a well deserved rating of five stars.

Movie = Austrailia

Just finished watching this 2 hour and five minute movie and i wasnt expecting much but this movie really surprised me.

Im not gonna describe the plot or anything but i like how it is set in Austrailia from before the start of WW2 to the attack on Austrailia. Another interesting thing is how it explores the culture and experiences of Austrailia for the time. So if your interested in a story based upon true events with some humor, drama, action along with the classic little bit of romance then youll like this. Only negative about this movie is that it does drag on somewhat 50-70 minutes in.

overall it gets a close 5 stars only because it has a slow pace near the middle but it quickly picks up again

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen

The first movie was groundbraking when it comes to box office success, critical acclaim, and its impressive CG work.

Needless to say when i was done watching the first one i already knew a second movie was going to be released and if this one is successful we will be seeing a third because this is a planned trilogy

When i first saw the teaser from the superbowl i was surprised, when i saw the first trailer i was ecstatic , and when i saw the 2nd trailer lets just say i was screaming that June 24th is taking forever to arrive.

Manga = Beck(Mongolian Chop Squad)

Just today i finished reading this 102 page manga which includes an extra chapter. Overall it is one of the best manga i have ever read and thats saying a lot considering ive read well over 200-300 manga series. Though currently im still reading only about 50 different series.

Anyways this is one manga that is for those who love a good story and also love almost any style of rock and the history that comes with it. The basis of the story surrounds a kid named Koyuki who joins a band named Beck(named after a dog belonging to one of their members) thats trying to get on their way to stardom. On their way to acheive that goal they experience many hardships, rivals, and enemies but overall its one of my top 3 favorite manga out of the 200-300 ive read

also if you finish the manga watch the anime which sadly only covers 20-23 of the chapters but its also equally an excellent anime to watch considering how they present the music and how realistic the guitars look

Overall the manga is a must read for anyone who likes to read a story thats able to move them into laughter and get a reaction out of them with the turn of every page. And when your done the anime will make you fall in love with the series all over again. The last thing to get would be the OST for the anime which includes every song performed in the anime which in my opinion transcends language barriers to prove to be some great music to listen to.

My rating for this series including the manga, anime, and OST is 5 Stars

The start of this blog

This post is to say that i will be starting this blog to post information on everything from games, manga(Japanese Comics), Anime, Manwha(basically Korean Manga), Movies, TV Shows etc.
