Just finished watching this 2 hour and five minute movie and i wasnt expecting much but this movie really surprised me.
Im not gonna describe the plot or anything but i like how it is set in Austrailia from before the start of WW2 to the attack on Austrailia. Another interesting thing is how it explores the culture and experiences of Austrailia for the time. So if your interested in a story based upon true events with some humor, drama, action along with the classic little bit of romance then youll like this. Only negative about this movie is that it does drag on somewhat 50-70 minutes in.
overall it gets a close 5 stars only because it has a slow pace near the middle but it quickly picks up again
